It's the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. And, with typical "fake out" real estate humor. it's not in Las Vegas. But, then again, the Strip isn't in Las Vegas either. It is in Paradise Township, Nevada. One of the unincorporated urban townships which make up the Las Vegas Metro area. The boundaries are generally Flamingo Road on the north, Swenson Street on the west, Tropicana Avenue on the south and Maryland Parkway on the east.

The main campus of UNLV is bordered by Tropicana Avenue to the south, Flamingo Road to the north, Maryland Parkway to the east, and Swenson Street to the west. The campus is on the north end of McCarran Airport (look for Runway 19). It is east of the Strip.
