My XP is now in Chinese and I want it back to English because I don't understand it. It was changed for some reason and I need help restoring the English language.

Try this (assuming everything looks the same as far as icons):

- Click Start button.
- Choose 'Control Panel' (looks like a little clipboard with a check mark on it, should be in second column)
- Click the date/time/language option (icon is a globe and calendar)
- There are two little 'sections', one with three choices that have green arrows and one with two icons and text. Choose the selection that has the globe icon, in the second section.
- The new window has 3 tabs: pick the third one. The first drop-down menu should be changed to English. Since that's probably in Chinese, the 27th choice is English (United States). Then click okay (first button at bottom).

Hopefully the menus all look the same and you can get it back to English. Good luck!
