Well, that door is an 20 year old patio door. Its a double sided sliding door. Very heavy indeed. The frame in which it sits in, is giving up on us. I can't hardly opening it nor closing it. We get ton's of cold air through it. Any suggestions of an easy and cheap fix besides having to purchase a new one?

My Patio door has no wheels. it sits in the track of the sliding metal on the ground. Its like a frame in which the door is hold in. You open it and it pushes it to the side. Its getting harder so doing it.

believe it or not it does have wheels. They are under the door where you can't see. you need to clean out the track really well and replace the wheel's. that should cost you about $3. Also calk the outsides and anywhere you feel a draft. That should do the trick.

I know that my cat has learned how to open doors but i think a sliding glass door would be much too heavy for a cat to open. It is more likely that a person did it.

GREASE THE TRACK/ROLLER WHEEL....IF THE WHEEL HAS FLATTENED OUT IT CAN BE PLACED.
