No, and speaking of needing to lighten up... Worker Ant was being facetious. Perhaps some people are reporting others because they fail to recognize irony.
In regards to the community guidelines, I may be in the minority here, and please don't take this to mean that I police Y!A or report people, but hear me out when I say that I agree with them. This is why:
On the internet there are hundreds of open forums for chatting, gaming, soliciting, etc. -- basically, doing all the things that are against the Y!A community guidelines (CG). So, if the Y!A CG are so evil and fascist, and these other forums are out there... why are we here? Because open forums suck compared to Y!A. What's the difference between Y!A and any open forum? The CG's.
Think about it -- when you are forced to stick to the Q&A format, you're forced to be creative with what you post and how you post. It's the same as any game or sport -- what fun would any of them be without any rules? Yahoo Answers is to Soccer or Football, what open forums are to a field of idiots holding a ball, and no goal to obtain whatsoever except to sell you Viagra.

confident, you're able to be between the YA policies overlords. i think of in case you in simple terms deliver a photo of Adolf Hitler alongside with your resume, you have a somewhat stable threat of having employed. BTW, NO COMPLAINING! a minimum of you get to be on the internet at artwork. I even have the exhilaration of doing tedious busy artwork for 8 hours devoid of information from the international-huge-internet for small breaks, lunch or in simple terms to blow off some steam.

Absolutely! In fact as soon as I have finished policing Yahoo I intend to annex Poland and invade Google. Worker Ant is my sadly misunderstood second in command and all those who speak against him will be lined up against the wall, violated and deleted.

The "moral fiber of society"??? Psssshhh. That's ridiculous. I suppose you are the one who found it offensive when I asked everyone what they wanted for Christmas? I think that kind of mindset towards innocent and playful users of this site are exactly what is wrong with the "moral fiber of society".
the only policing that should be done is against potential predators.
