What is a fair price to clean a house we're going to rent?? It's one story and the basement.

Depends on how long it will take to clean, and who is providing the supplies. I usually average about $12-$14 per hour per person cleaning, and a minimum of $25 for supplies if none are supplied by the homeowner/agent. More if the cleaner has to bring large cleaning supplies such as a vacuum or carpet steamer.

I would decide what you think is a fair hourly rate for this job. Probably about 10 bucks an hour. Then, estimate the amount of work, and how much time it would take. Expected number of hours x $10.00 +your answer.

Depends on how dirty it is. The amount of work required could be drastically different depending on the levels of dirt which need to be removed.
