What's scarey is I believe you actually mean what you're saying.

Chances of getting a sex change are good for a male to female...but everything I've read about reversing the operation is difficult. Needless to say, any doctor performing such a transformation would do so KNOWING this was what you wanted on a permanent basis so doing it just so you can go to jail with your girlfriend is pretty remote.

Moving along my thoughts I would also wonder if you went out with the intention of committing a crime...would you go to the same prison let alone the same cell...I seriously doubt it!

What I suggest you do is rethink the reasoning for going through all this and at the same time either commit yourself to providing a positive roll in life so when your girlfriend DOES get out...you've got a well established home for the both of you or find a different girlfriend!

When being sent to a prison, you have no choice in the matter as to location. Most prisons will have you fill a form out asking if you have family or aquaintances at that particular prison. You'd go where they send you. Getting a sex change just to be with your girlfriend is really taking it way too far. As for sex changes being reversable, no way. A lot is involved in getting a sex change, from what I have seen on tv, & when undergoing a psychological examine, they will ask you why you wish to change your sex. Doing it to be near your g/f won't cut it. Get on with your life while your g/f is away. Keep in touch & visit her when you can. A lot can happen in twelve years where you're both concerned. Don't make long term plans where she's concerned. Just take it a day at a time. What will be will be.

wow i hope this is a joke
but in case it isn't people with sex changes are sent to what sexed prison they were switched to
nextly if you had a sex change operation their is the choice of whether you can switch back or not, there are no guarentees though that either operation will be successful and they will definately be exspensive either way
so before you get snipped think about whether you are willing to walk around the rest of your life without your twig and giggle berries!?!

Have you got problems, First your girlfriend must have done something very serious to be in prison for 12 years, which it will cost the UK tax payers £1000s to keep her there, Secondly I think your a head case, for believing a sex change would solve your problems. there again, Why should we pay for your operation, there are more deserving cases?

Sounds like you would be better off just finding a new girlfriend. You cannot request the prison of your choice, and you cannot undo a sex change.

I don't believe what I have just read. You have got to be sick.! I think you need professional help . If your girlfriend really is in prison for 12 years, the crime she committed must be serious. You must forget her . Do you perhaps feel guilty because you were involved in some way? Whew, I just can't get my head around this one!!!!!

Im a prison guard and Im answering this question from the prison you talk about. And your girlfriend is now my girlfriend....wether she likes it or not if you get what I mean.
Infact she has many new 'friends' in here....but dont worry we will divorce her in 12 years so you will be back in with a chance then.
