Buy 1/4" or thicker Red Oak boards or sheeting (to cut yourself) at Home Centers (HD or Lowes). If you can find paneling in the type wood you want, buy that. Wainscotting is NOT a material. It is a process of installing a partial covering on a wall. usually 36" up from the floor and a rail placed on top.

home depot sells it, you can buy it buy the sheet , i think its 4'X6' - starting at $30 a sheet (and up) -or by the strips for better quality, last i knew 2 months ago it was about $40 per package for 3' high and will cover about 6'...can get it more expensive depending on quality such as amount of knots and coloration.
