I need some new bras, but I want to have an idea of what size to get before I go (my breasts have grown alot fast!) It says that I'm a 34A but that sounds small and my breasts aren't really small. Will you please try this and see if it gives you your correct size?

Under my breasts I'm 29in. but on the widest part of my breast I'm 35in. Is a 34A right?

The measurement around your ribs is your Band Size. Bands usually go by even numbers so probably a 30

The measurement around your bust minus the band size gives you the cup size.
35 minus 30 is 5 inches
A cup = 1 inch
B = 2
C = 3
D = 4
DD = 5 inches.
Based on your measurements you're probably a 30 DD. There are a few things that could make a difference such as the width of your back, the cut of the specific bra and if your tape was completely level behind you if it slid down it coukld easily add an inch or so. A fuller higher cut you might try a D cup for support, if the cut is lower to show a little skin you want the DD because you will bulge over the top of the material if it's snug. (been there, done that)

But No, there calculator is Way off. I don't know how they get there numbers.

You measure yourself around the largest part - so if that's 34 inches, then you need to look for size 34. As for the cup size, you are supposed to get the largest cup size that still fits smoothly. So try 34B.

Exactly what is it you want everyone to try? Go to a bra boutique and have one of the sales people size and fit you.

you measure under your breasts around the chest, then you measure on your breasts around the chest. breasts one inch larger are an A cup, breasts 2 inches larger are a B cup, three inches C cup and so forth.

I would just go into Victoria's Secret or a department store & have them measure you. It's free & accurate.
