Use the FOIL method
First times First (First - 3)(First + 4)
Outside times Outside (Outside - 3)(3x + Outside)
Inside times Inside (2x - Inside)(Inside + 4)
Last times last (2x - Last)(3x + Last)

F * F = 6x^2
O * O = 8x
I * I = -9x
L * L = -12
Answer 6x^2 - x - 12
