I don't necessarily think that I'm childish, but I can definitely be childlike at times. There's a difference. "Childish" implies being stubborn and irrational, while "childlike" connotes a sense of spontaneity and playfulness, which I don't have a problem with. Anyhow, it's never too late to have a good childhood.
