when you get a best answer?

is it a good thing to leave a comment in reply to say thanks 4 being given best answer or give some sort of response to it or do none of you look back at your question once you have given the BA out.?
do you check if the winner replies to your BA award?

i sometimes leave a comment depending on the question and rating of answer. sometimes i check back on my questions for comments but there's usually no comments.

I usually leave a comment, sometimes I admit I forget, but I try to either that or I send an e-mail...and same I usually check back as well, but not always....it's the polite thing to do, I would imagine.

I always look at what people think of my answers, I am amazed that I sometimes get a thumbs down for the most inoffensive answers, for example, the question was "who are you missing right now", my reply was, "my wife who is in hospital having an operation", why was that worthy of a thumbs down.

Yes - it is always a good thing to reward the time a person has taken in answering your question. I alwasy thank my person for their time - unless the best answer is chosen by voters by itself.

Personally i always go back and check the comment i have gottan a best answer, i also go back and check my questions sometimes - just to remind my self of other peoples views and opinions.
