The network, where I m planning 2 deploy a Wimax system, is VLAN-switched (only Catalyst). So I wanna know if there is a manufacturer that supports VLAN and then redundancy could b supported. I will appreciate a non-Cisco solution.

MAX VLANS PER SECTOR AND CPE
4096 VLAN IDs per sector supported, with 256 of them supported concurrently 16 VLAN ID's supported per CPE

I think Alvarions systems do and actually would be surprised if most WiMax equipment didn't support multiple vlans.. Even AirSpan supports Vlan (limited but supported)
