That is, of course, if he makes it through primaries, which at this point looks like he has a pretty good chance.

No. She isn't in the least interested in getting into politics as a candidate. Politics doesn't attract people with her qualities anymore. And she can affect many more people by doing exactly what she is doing now. She found her niche, and due to it being extremely successful, I would suspect that she will continue in that direction.

No. Oprah is a private citizen and can therefore support any candidate that she chooses. Additionally, Oprah lives in the Chicago area and Obama is an Illinois senator, so she is campaigning for the senator from her home state - which lots of people tend to do.

No, I think Oprah is campaigning for Obama for other reasons. And if I post those reasons here, it's likely I'll get thumbs down for them, even if they are exclusively my opinion.
But it's probably the same reason Jamie Foxx and Whoopi Goldberg supported Michael Vick for the dog fighting.

ha! Very well could be! It's really scary how many people's minds Oprah can sway!

I love Oprah, but I don't follow every little thing she does or says like apparently, millions of people do

Oprah works in Chicago, but mainly lives in Santa Barbara, California. [she flys there, all the time, private jet].

If she can influence people that much, that is very scary.

If she does become his running mate, then I won't vote for him. We already have enough fake tears on Capital Hill.
