My dear Grandmothers are both long dead, but if they WERE alive, I would do all in my power to NOT do what so many Americans have done with not only their Grandparents, but THEIR PARENTS, and that is STICK THEM IN A NURSING HOME! It is criminal how this nation treats our elderly! We "farm them out" to society rather than take personal responsibility for them ourselves! (We do the same with OUR KIDS, ie DAYCARE!).
