your mind controls your body. your thoughts can actually have an effect on your spirit. this spirit usually comes from good or bad works of the heart. ultimately, your soul determines your entire being. something like stepping into an supernatural realm.
i truly believe that when these things are out of alignment (mind, body, spirit), meaning something isn't benefiting you for good or pleasing of God, then it causes evil to interfere in all aspects. whether it be a disease or how you treat others. thus causing a detachment.

At birth it all comes together. When you die, the spirit and soul leave the body, so I guess that is where the detachment comes from.

for me there is a detachment for mind and body but never my body and then soul....

yeah ... i do experience temporal dis-associativeness from time to time.... Its so bad some times I keep a big net nearby in case my parts drift too far away.
