I would like to be liked for who I am. I try not to be a hateful person, so I don't know anybody who hates me. I am also down to earth, and pretty humble. I can't see trying to be something I am not. It just doesn't fit in to my personality. I could never be a model, for example. I just can not picture myself all dolled up, and trying to look sexy, and posing and all that. I would feel so stupid, lol. Just not me.

I find people like Biance' offensive, because to me, she is trying too hard to be miss sex queen, and I find it distasteful and disgusting. I felt the same way about Brittney Spears. I can usually spot a phoney a mile away. Call it fakedar, lol.

I think people in general, prefer the real thing over a fake, whether they like them or not. If not, then our society is more full of shallow people than I thought.

I'm already being hated for who i am so i will go with that. I am proud to be who i am, different and a little bit over the edge. So yeah i guess i want to be hated for who i am because if i was liked for who i am not, then i would be hated for who i am if i tried to show who i truly am.

This is the same thing. If you are hated for who you aren't, then at some point you were hated for who you are and decided to act like a different person, and then someone came around and hated this fake person you created... dig?

This is simple to answer to.
If you're hated for your nature or the way you are this doesn't necessarely means that there's something wrong in you (remember that even Jesus has been crucifixed).
If you're loved for who you are not, sooner or later you will became hated for that reason as well.. that brings you straight to the starting line of the question...
there's no way out, see? :)

I would rather be hated for who I am then to be liked for who I'm not. If people hate me for being myself I can live with that as I am being true to myself. But I couldn't live with myself if people liked me for what I'm not as it would mean that I'm not being true to myself. And to me that's just not acceptable. And to me if people are gonna hate me for being myself then they simply aren't worth the time or effort.

I don't pretend to be anyone I'm not so I'd rather be hated for who I am.

Defnitely hated for who I am; I couldn't give a care what people think of me! I'm too old to worry about stuff like that.

you forgot an option, being hated for who you aren't. and that is what i rather be. because in the end they'll know they lived in a world of self delusions and misinformation.
