He is just a barely "average" quarterback. When I watch him play and the way he carries himself on the sidelines, I just don't see him cheering his offense up or being a "leader". When he is on the sidelines, he just stands there usually by himself like he doesn't want to be bothered. Maybe he is tired of always being compared to his older brother. I know Giants fans feel cheated right now....Giants should have gotten Chargers QB Phillip Rivers instead.

Its time for the Giants to think about using a pick for another QB. The experiment is over. 4 years is enough.

he's an extremely stable quarterback. he's no longer a celebrity like his brother, yet he has shown that he's a great chief, could make take carry of throws, and can carry a team on his shoulders on the top of the recreation. i do no longer think of Eli's throwing mechanics will enable him to have great of entirety probabilities, yet while he would not make quite a few blunders, his team will win, in simple terms like the Giants did in February.

Eli had a bad day against the Vikings,Romo had a bad day against the Bills,Peyton also had a bad day against the Chargers, but Eli had some good days,he will never be as great as his brother, but then who is?he will get better the more he plays

Needs to be out of the league. He has no talent, no heart, and a disgrace for anyone to look up too. Whining and complaining that if he gets drafted by the Chargers he won't sign. Talk about pathetic at least the Chargers didn't back down and got the better qb in a trade to the Giants in Phillip Rivers. Of course now the Giants are kicking themselves for trading for this talentless pos!

Overrated. He was never as good as Peyton but always compared to him. He is serviceable but I don't see him winning a Super Bowl with the Giants or any team.

hes getting what he deserves.. after all the hype and him being upset by being drafted by san diego and then that gettin him traded to new york.. its great to see this kid who thought he had power coming into the nfl playing terribly. hmm wonder what he would have done in san diego with LT, Gates, and Chambers and the rest of their supporting cast. he prolly still wouldnt be good.. he only got picked high because of his last name.. thats all it is .. his last name!~

I think he has sparks of potential of being a decent QB. Unfortunately, they're only sparks and they seem to die quickly and often. I also think he wouldn't be under such constant scrutiny if his last name was not Manning--and I'm sure I'm not the first person to realize this.
