I get a lot of stars but for some reason when I know I gave a good answer I see no thumbs up. So a thumbs up once in a while would be nice.

A thumbs up for my answer makes me happier than a star
for my question.

A star. I don't ask many questions, but when I do, a star is a big kick. Usually when I ask a question, it's some practical thing, like how to resolve some problem with my computer. But I have thought it's time to start asking some thought-provoking questions in Religion & Spirituality, because the quality of questions has gone seriously down lately.

I don't think I ever get stars for my questions, so I guess one would really make me happy. I do like getting thumbs ups, but I really like getting Best Answer!

Star for the question. Having stars shows the question to the contacts of the person who starred, and more people are likely to answer it.

a thumbs up because then if it's picked as a best answer I get one point for every thumbs up. You don't get any points for stars.
