A person w/ yahoo account using it for fraud and theif of money-can you help find him.?

This person as [e-mail] has just scammed me for $1800 by responding to an ad in which I was selling a car. Sent a bogus check. I want to know how I can track him down or what contacts at yahoo I can give to law enforcement agency. Thank you.

Call your local police. Give them everything you can. Posting his e-mail address can back-fire so I suggest you refrain from doing so.
