You want to be careful using a lot of corrosive cleaners on a glossy painted door, because it will dull it considerably, causing you to have to re-paint it. However, there are some solutions. One of the best I have found is a product called Goof-Off. You can find it at most hardware stores like Ace or even Walmart. Test it in a conspicuous part of the door first of course to see th reaction it has with the paint. And use these cleaners sparesly because they could even take the paint off if you get some really acidic cleaners. Other than Goof-off denatured alcohol sometimes works with some inks.

A lot of marker inks are soluble in acetone.

Acetone is the main ingredient in most nail polish removers. It will probably dull the paint. You may have to repaint the door.

I use Mr Clean eraser sponge a lot but i don't think it can work perfectly in your case.

It will still remove some paint but will leave matte patches on your shiny paint.

The best option I would suggest you to use Mr Clean to clean whatever you can and you definitely need to repaint the door.

Try cigarette lighter fluid, the one that comes in the tall skinny yellow bottle. That works well on many things.
