I looked at the All Season F1 tires and the Assurance Triple Treads and am not sure which would be better for my Saturn Sedan.

The Assurance Tripletread has a good reputation for snow performance - a fact which quite frankly surprised me becuase the first time I saw that tire I thought "no way is this thing gonna work", but they do. The jury is still out on the F1 All-Season since they have not been on the market long enough to see a winter yet. Why you would want a high-performance all-season tire for a Saturn boggles my mind a bit but I would expect them to be inferior to the Assurance in winter.

Both, like any all-season tire, will be pretty much useless on ice. That's just not what they are designed for. For that you need the Ultra-Grip, which is only intended for winter use. Better though would be the Bridgestone Blizzak WS-60 - the best snow, ice and cold temps tire on the market.

There, now you have consulted a tire expert.

Instead of asking us dummies, don't you think that consulting a tire expert would be better? Goodyear manager should resolve that question for you.
