I've come to the conclusion that if someone 'thumbs down' your answer, then they are JEALOUS of your answer!...
A close friend of mine just asked the question:
"Whats the point?
As you can imagine the answers were all over the board. But my new friend answered the question with :
"Point a to b ... Point a to b"
She had 3 thumbs down!!!! I mean what for?!?! its not like her answer is WRONG. Personally i think that hateful people are jealous that they couldn't come up with a cool answer like that.
So to all you haters out there, stop being jealous, and get better answers so you wont 'thumbs down' good ones.

i agree and I think most of the time it was nothing to do with the answer. they dislike a person because they are jealous and they thumbs down any answer they see of that person no matter if the answer could solve cancer!

I get that a lot too and I think that they figure if they thumbs down everybody your going to pick them for Best Answer, some peoples children eh...I just learned to ignore it...good luck and I feel for your friend...=-)

Jealousy IS a green eyed monster. I see a certain group of people who ask and answer each others question that are always thumbed down for no reason. (most of my contacts) I don't let it bother me anymore, cuz they know I love those guys!!

i totally agree. or if I give a one word answer i get a violation for it....but it's ok for "certain" users to do it. and they go to the top because of it...ha !!
