Absolutely.. Whether their real name or just a name they use as in a handle or user name. There is also a guy at work who has the same name as the guy who murdered my daughter. While I might speak to him because this is who I am I do my best not to communicate with him unless I have to.
It is not his fault he has the same name as well as the same ethnic group.but I can't help thinking of my daughter even when I see him.

Yep cuz people say all the time the name sounds white or that name is ghetto. That is prejudice. How can you say that because of a name?

Sadly Yes. Society is such that an element of people, particularly insecure individuals, need to draw attention to themselves at the expense of those they feel are different enough to be ridiculed. Names invoke sentiments and strong feelings in all of us. Naming a child is one of the greatest opportunities we get. Yet ridiculing someones name to isolate them and open them to prejudice, is one of the lowest things we could stoop to.

I think your first answer pretty much says it all and worded well, too. It starts in early child hood when the kids will pick on somebody because of their name.
