If the nuva ring slides to lower part of vagina does it lose some of its effectiveness?

I've just started on the nuva-ring last month. I noticed that it slides down to the lower part of vagina frequenty. I was wondering does the placement have anything to do with effectiveness or does it not matter that it slides down?

It shouldn't have a change of effect when it comes to placement based on what I've heard but I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
