Afterlife..

do u believe that when u die, that its possible to let ur loved ones know ur ok, or come back as somethin..

my friends grandpa died, he was 92 i think. but he was a little farmer that always carried blue string with him, all the time incase he ever needed it for somethin handy.

when he died, the mornin of his funeral, his daughter looked over on a little step beside her, and there was a piece of blue string blowing beside her!

that was nice, and i believe it i think.

also my friend committed suicide.. when he did this, on the night of his wake, i was walkin home from it, when i heard like geese in the sky, the sky was so black, and i could see 2 geese. didnt think anything of it, only that they were noisy.

until a few weeks later when i was walkin home from my work, and i passed his moms house, and as true as god in heaven, i heard geese, looked up and there were 2 geese flying over his house. i just cried!

what u think?

I think god lets us show our loved ones that we are ok after we pass. When my grandpa died i was heart broken. I didnt think that i could even look at my grandma without thinking about him. One day i was home alone, working on my computer and i heard a noise that sounded like mooing.....(We used to call my grandpa Grandpa Moo,because he used to moo at us when we were younger). At First i scared me to hear what sounded like him, but then it made me feel better. the next day i went to go see my grandma and told her the story and she said that my cousin had been there before i got there and she said that she heard the same thing i did.

In the movie "Where the red ferns grow", after the death of the 2 dogs, two red ferns grew from their graves. I think God allows us to know that they are ok. My brothers youngest son died of Leukemia. After a few weeks he was miserable and playing golf. A pretty butterfly landed on his shoulder when he was on the green. He remembered his son and swung the club and made a hole in one for the first time.

I know our spirits or energy or soul, whatever you call it, leaves our bodies when we die. It has happened to me and to others. I dont know where we go, but I think we are always around those we loved. If we are open to the signs, I think we will see they try to communicate with us in some form. I have experienced some of this as well as some other family members and people I know have also.

My husband passed away, and now I see his "clock" number from his work "166" all the time, could just be coincidence as im more aware of the number, I dont know, nice to think there is something more out there and that we are being watched over.

Yes. It's comforting to believe in an afterlife. I also think it's normal and healthy to see life differently while grieving.
