I'm looking for cool cheap gifts for a Jr. High, gift exchange. Any ideas?

I think the gift has to be for a both boy, and girl.

you didn't mention if it was for a boy or a girl or both.
I would hit the dollar store...buy a basket (or even a stocking)...
if it is for a girl, buy some bath fizzies, one of those puffs, a couple small bottles of lotion (vanilla works good).
if it is for a boy, maybe a deck of playing cards, but not really sure what else as i have a daughter.
if it is generic, the playing cards would work well, candy, an ornament...things along that line.

You can get a lot of really nice gifts for under 8 dollars, you just have to go to the right places. I'm not sure what types of gifts you want to give but if you take a round at the dollar store, I'm sure you'll find something there. If you don't want to go to the Dollar Store, you can always check Wal-Mart. They usually have a clearance shelf, and even things that are not on sale are cheap. I know at my Wal-Mart, they sell these really pretty glass frames with poems on them, I think they cost about 7.99 (CDN) but, you'll have to pay a bit of extra on taxes.

Why not buy a gift card, book, or a game.
Once I gave a Mug with candy in it and put a two dollar gift card for Baskin-Robins.
You could go to the dollar store and get the mug and candy:)

go thru ur moms old christmas cards an cut them up an use the paper to make pretty new christmas cards, i know soem paper folding an card makign stuff, everee one always loves the cards i make, an their cool an personal, maybe put soem candy or earrigns in their, that wud only coast liek 3 bucks at a drugstoe, or 6 bucks at clares :-} ♥

or filled with Hershey's kisses or other candy or candy canes
a cute stuffed animal like a teddy bear
something useful and nice for school locker
once I gave a castle sand sculpture at a gift exchange
everyone wanted it bad...
gloves, mittens,
cute, funny, nice pens or pencils, notebooks
pick out something you would like and go from there
have fun it will be fine!!!

if its a girl...at target they sell these little mini clocks they are about the size of a large coin. They are so cute..something to add to a desk top.
But you can do candy, a Mcdonald dollars, and so on
