Yes, if you encrypt the files and, to get really safe, use something like winzip or winrar to make the file into a zip or rar file that requires a password to open.

While it is possible to tape into an Internet transmission and intercept an e-mail (and the attachment), it is rare that it actually happens. About the same as the odds that someone at the post office will open a mailed letter. But it can happen.

If you are really concerned, you should use an encryption progam. Go to http://download.com and you will find several free ones. The program will "scramble" the file so that is someone should intercept it, they can not read it. They have to have the password (which you would have to give to whoever you sent the file to) and the same encruption program to decode it in order to read the file.

You can also use a compression program like Winzip or Winrar which allow you to password protect a file. Again, the other person would have to have the password and the program to read the file.
