You're living on love, don't need much sleep and want to spend every waking minute together, right? That high adrenaline rush, we're-so-perfect-for-each-other feeling that you have when you first fall in love typically lasts about 18 months to two years.

There is no way that human beings could live that way indefinitely, so no it won't last forever. Reality does set in after a while; however, the relationship could develop into something deeper and richer that will sustain you both for the rest of your lives.

You've only been together for six months? Well, when you're young and you fall in love for the first time, you think you're going to be with that person for the rest of your life. Sadly, in most situations this isn't always the case. You're young, stop worrying about the 'forever', enjoy your time with him and the love you feel for him for the time being. And if it should lead to forever, then so be it. Take it one step at a time, don't rush into things. Good luck.

Six months is too soon a time to know if it will be forever. Take the time to get to know him. Just because there are love feelings between the both of you does not mean it is gonna last. Relationships are always good in the beginning, time will let you know what you need to know.

You're still in the "butterflies in my tummy" stage. We all feel that way when we're in love. 6 months is not a very long time.. yes, the relationship is fresh.. but wait and date longer. Then see where things go. Your relationship hasn't been tested yet. You'll have fights and little arguments here and there. You're still getting to know him, his habits, likes and dislikes, behavior, etc.. too early to tell, and only YOU can be the judge of how far things will go...

I fell in love with my bf when i was 15 and he was 16. We are still together now after nearly 7 years together so yes it can last, everyone is different, but don't listen to people who say it won't work, it can , and if you love him and he loves you, theres no reason for it not to work!! enjoy the feelings!

Only time will tell. Enjoy the 1st fuzzy feelings of love 'cause it doesn't last - especially after you have lived together for years and time just trudges on...once that happens, you'll understand why people get jaded when it comes to love.

Forever is a very long time.
What difference does it make if it lasts forever anyway?
If it's a good time now, then let it be a good time. Forever is too far off to think that much about.

how old are you? if you're in your teens like i think you are, it probably won't last because you're stil growing and maturing. If you're not, it might be that you've found your true love.
