swaping harddisk won't cop itself music or pics.
U can connect two harddisk in to a sstem & copy all files u needed to the second harddisk.
Thatway only u have music or pics in 2 harddisks.
If u just swap harddisk most probably ur windows will not load, or load in safemode, then u have to install drivers...it will be a mess. Just copy the files u needed.
Even u can use dvd-rw, usb stick to copy files in between 2 computers. Thats the easy way.

If you swap two hard drives, all the files (pictures, music, etc) will go with the drives. However, if the drives have Windows XP running on them, they will detect that they are not in the correct PC and refuse to run Windows for you. Part of Microsoft's security to keep people from making illegal copies of hard drives with Windows on them and using them to sell new PCs instead of buying copies of Windows. So you may not want to swap them around.
