my peroid is sposed to come on next monday. i had protected sex but my cat never lays on me but she did this morning. is that a sign of pregnanency?

No, my cat lay on my stomach twice today that doesnt mean Im having twins!! It just wants a fuss or feeding. You are obviously worried that you could be pregnant, the only way to be sure is to do a test, good luck x

I have never heard of such i have heard of when you are holding a baby and you are pregnant it calms the baby down but i dont know if tht is true or not but i would say no not a sign just wait and if u miss ur period take a test !

It could be... you're right, animals can sometimes "know". My friend went swimming with dolphins before she knew she was pregnant and the dolphin kept bumping her tummy with his nose - the guide told her that meant she was pregnant and sure enough - she was!
But the only way to be sure is to wait until your period is due/late, then take a pregnancy test. "My cat lay on me" is not a diagnostic test that any doctor would recognise!

i wouldn't take it as a sign...
but it's funny you should mention it, my cats' favorite spot to lay now that i'm pregnant is on my tummy!
it does seem to calm the baby down if they're purring, she stops moving so much.
(barking dogs scare her though!)
