Concrete Blonde. Agonist. The best way to find a new group is by purchasing soundtracks from Movies. You will be surprised what you are able to learn as far as all of the hidden talent throughout the World.

I really like PJ Harvey. Her new CD is not really rock. It is more like chamber music. Good CDs to get from her are: Dry, Is This Desire, To Bring You My Love. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Tori Amos isn't really rock. But her new CD American Doll Posse has some really good rock tunes on it. KT Tunsall is really good. I like both of her CDs. Patti Smith is another good rock chick. Dog and Butterfly is a good Heart album. Mystic Wind is a really heavy song. Good luck on your hunting.

Maria McKee, formerly with Lone Justice,
and Monica Queen when she sang with Thrum. They both sing very powerfully, without screeching or growling.
And Shirley Manson, now with Garbage, formerly with Goodbye Mr. Mackenzie
