You can. A friend, who is an attorney, recently received a camper from a client as payment.
Anyone can barter. As long as the two parties agree as to value,and the value is realistic, there should not be a problem.

yes I think attorneys should look into cases where people can not afford cash but yet services/property.Barter is old as the hills

Not my attorney. I was involved in a lawsuit against an HMO insurance company and it settled for cash he wanted 45 percent.. But he did get me more than expected...

It depends on what you are offering...lol. You can legally barter with anyone who agrees.

If you both agree to the terms, yes. Just to play safe get the terms in writing.

Nope. Unless you own a mansion, or a yacht that is free and clear of any money owed. They like good old CASH and lots of it.
