LOL, i know where you are coming from!!! I'm 36 weeks and sometimes I am embarrassed for myself!!! I read the Jenny McCarthy book about her pregnancy and she addresses this topic in a rather open manner....there is nothing that compares to a pregnant woman's gas. Nothing you can do but stick it out for two more weeks!!! Just think about that little miracle in there when you are gasping for air!! Good Luck!!

It's caused because your digestive system slows down so that you can get more of the nutrients out of the food... but also that means the food sits there fermenting and turning into gas for longer!
You can try cutting down on all the "obvious" gas producing (and stinky-gas producing, cos it ain't such a problem if it don't stink, right?) foods, like garlic, onions spices, and sulphur (English spelling) rich foods like cabbage, broccoli etc. Have you noticed anything in particular that makes you bad? Personally, Pringles potato chips always do it for me, but they are easy to avoid!
Looking on the bright side, you probably only have a couple more weeks to go. So you could just open a window, light a candle or some incense, and put up with it for a little longer!
I hope you feel better soon!

Watching what you eat can help a lot. Actually dairy is a big cause along with diferent foods. Some of the different pregnancy sites will have list of foods that can help.
Baby Center has a good list along with tips, the only tip I can remember off hand is not to gulp when you swallow. I don't know why that one stuck in my head.
