Creolegirl, I'm sorry if I offended you. Its Ring of Fire from Johnny Cash. I think its about the ups and downs of love but I've always thought of it as a song about how **** happens and you have to overcome it. I am terribly sorry about what happened to your daughter and I hope she gets better.

I'd say< "Hey Fire, you-you stay away from me. i don't like to be burned by your madness. So just stop it, alright. I mean it. Your bugging me and its not funny any more." then, naturally, the Fire would back off and help me find my way out.
