I like alot of new age metal and some old skool rock. (guns n roses, acdc, black sabbath, metallica, megadeth, rage against the machine, and system of a down.)

THRICE is my favorite. i love the hard stuff. soft is fine. old school rock I'm not too in to, just a few bands like Rage. lately I've been getting into the new stuff. i love the progress. and i can only listen to metal if it is fast and constantly changing pace through out a song, like Under Oath (only the first four songs of the album Define the Great Line)

Creedence Clearwater Revival is my favorite rock band,
I'm also a big Black Sabbath fan,
I like the old rock, Classic Rock is my favorite music genre,
I like some of that Carlos Santana too

I LOVE 70's and 80's rock. There was no real 'metal' then, so I guess hard and metal. Not so much soft. I couldn't possibly pick one fav. band, I love them all! But I really like Scorpions, Poisen, Ratt, Alice Cooper, Damn Yankeys. I could probably narrow that down to DY and Poisen. I love a screaming lead guitar and loud drums! :0)

I like most of who you mentioned but my all time favorite who I can listen to without ever getting tired of is the Beatles, but I guess that might not be considered rock enough so I would have to say The Doors.

Butt rock, is the best. Not so keen on the new rock. Deaf leopard, guns n roses, is a goodie but oldie. and in this case i prefer soft!

I dont really listen to rock bands, but i like simple plan and some of limp bizcuits songs. I prefer new songs, not really hard rock but not so soft its boring.
