Have you had a look at the Scandinavian peninsula on the world map? It's like a great big todger hanging down and nearly touching Great Britain. Now that is way too close for comfort.

Not really. I travel between UK and Norway every few weeks, its over 1000 km., and wish that I did not have to fly, every time. Flying is so stressful. Norway is nice though, but a bit pricey.
