Santa Claus often helps his elves by making some of the toys. He's not as fast as the elves, but he can still make 30 toys each hour. In order to keep from getting bored he starts each day by building 50 trains and then switches to building 50 airplanes. Then he switches back to trains and keeps switching back and forth until the day is finished.

He will make 50 trains, 50 planes, 50 trains, 50 planes... then 8 cars.

That is 208 toys.

208 toys = H hours x 30 toys/hour

H = 208 / 30
H = 6 28/30

This is the same as 6 hours 56 minutes. Since he starts at 8:00 am, he will finish at 2:56 pm.

Well, if he starts by building 50 trains, then 50 planes, then 50 trains, etc...then by the time he gets to his 108th train, he would have already done 100 trains and 100 planes, or 200 toys. 30 toys an hour is one toy every two minutes. So up to the time he finishes his 100th plane would be 400 minutes. Then, making 8 trains would take 16 minutes. So 416 minutes after 8:00 a.m., or 6 hours and 56 minutes (Now this is assuming he works without taking any breaks.) He would finish the 108th train at 2:56 p.m.

It takes 2minutes to make a toy.
if he starts the work by 8.00. a.m he would finish 50train toys in 9.40a.m.
again 50 airplane in 11.20.a.m
again 50 train in 1.00 p.m.
again 50 airplane in 2.40p.m
again 8 train in 2.56.p.m
