Can anyone recommend some good movies from Bollywood, Canada, France or any other country (espcially those dubbed in English or sub-titled?). Perhaps a comedy/romantic comedy or action feature? Hollywood isn't cutting it anymore for me.

hmmm...so many to choose from..
For Canadian comedy, try "Bon Cop, Good Cop" about 2 police officers, one from Ontario the other from Quebec, forced to work a homicide together. There's also 'Men With Brooms,' which is a comedy having curling as the driving force. Or how about combining Bollywood and Canadian movies with "Bollywood Hollywood."

AMEN SISTER! I completely agree and adore foreign films. A few of my favorites:
"Cinema Paradiso"
"Like Water for Chocolate"
"Amelie"
"Il Postino"
Those are great starters. American films have become nothing but fake, fake, fake.........sad really.

i love the movie Amelie. its a french film about this girl who discovers that she can change the world by helping people even tho she's a quiet, shy waitress... and on the way, she finds love.

French drama that will make you cry...."Jean de Florette & manon of spring ..(2 cd's) .my favorite of all time.
