Actually there is no Civil War brewing in America. Just because the "uniter" has, in fact, separated people wider than they have been in decades doesn't mean civil war. You might be surprised at how really close we are on most issues. By the way I would hope we are all Constitutional Patriots, whatever they are.

not the way you might think.

i think the upcoming war will between corporate interests, that are not consistent with the constitution nor good for america and the rest of us.

i would be willing to bet that there will be consumer groups popping up all over the nation over the next 10 years or so.

the purpose of these groups will be for citizens (who no longer have representation in the govt) to directly approach corporations in order to tell them to stop doing certain things.

corporations have thought of everything - except that we are all free to buy or NOT buy where ever we please.

i can spend more at my local drug store instead of shopping at walmart if i chose to.

it might not even make sense - but i do it anyway - because i want these people to stay in business and don't like walmart.

we have the ability to put the corporations OUT OF BUSINESS.

i assert that when we start to do exactly that - there will be a war of a sort.

imagine if everyone simply stopped banking at citigroup or chase morgan and they went out of business.

imagine if we just stopped buying gas at exxon or stopped buying chinese stuff at walmart and they went out of business.

nothing in the world can make this happen - except us of course.

when american consumers discover their only real power left (power of our individual wallets) there will be war.

I would say...no. There is no civil war brewing here in America.

No it just seems that way, actually most Americans are centrists and the extremes on either side just seem to draw more attention

Yes - Revolutions are a minority affair.

5-10% can be a mass movement if 90% sits idly by.
