A bearded dragon my friend has- very loveable, despite it's looks
I have foxes everywhere in my neck of the woods- They will come right up to me when I feed them- they are cool- My folks had one in the house when they were first married 58 years ago.

One of those black and white and long beetles with the long antenni that are native to Asia, but now found in the woods of the Pacific Northwest.
It wasn't a pet, just a friend for a couple of days of camping.

Well, I have pet rats -- does that count?
We had a possum that came up onto our deck every night for a few weeks. We fed her and she quickly learned to knock on the door if we hadn't put her food out!
I also rescued a sea gull once -- it was in a parking lot and couldn't fly. I threw a sheet over it and brought it to a vet who said its wing was sprained but not bruised. I kept it in the bathtub (poor thing was THIRSTY!) for a few days while I found a place where it could rehab. God, what a MESS it made, but interesting to have around.

i had a skunk..wasnt really a pet it was wild and lived under my house in the crawl space but it was very friendly..it used to come up on our front porch to eat the cat food,we leave out for our cats....it took awhile but it started comeing out when we were siting out there at first if was kind of freaky...for us not the skunk...lol aftwer awhile it got to be really friendly we used to hand feed it and pet it ...it was awfully cute even....and i must say in the 5 or 6 years that little thing lived under our house it never once sprayed anything under there it was a very good pet to have around....

The research center I study at has a common lobster. I call it Santiago. It will snap its claws at anyone who comes near, almost leaping off the bottom and putting its claws out of the water.
Good times.

Not a pet, but a momma skunk and I used to get along pretty well. She and her brood were regular visitors in the back yard and she finally got to where she would take food from my hand.

I have a red kneed tarantula. We haven't formed much of a "bond", but she is very interesting to observe.

A praying mantis.
It's intriguing to hand feed them flies.
