Ok, Brylcream is like vaseline for your hair. Gives you that special "girlfriend just kissed me on the forehead and slid into the fireplace" look the JFJ carries so well.

LITY, this weeks edition seems to be past the usual boiling point and nearing eruption. Additionally, "Renney and Tortorella have been given votes of confidence"? I'm not hearing that here.

Sorry CME....I have an interview with Richard Peddie at 1:00pm to talk about an opening he has.........(I wish)

I'm actually at home today with a grandchild.

There has been hot and heavy conversation at the ACC for about a week now. Several prominent people have been seen in the building for both potential coach and GM positions. I haven't seen anybody myself but there were rumours last week that Maurice would be gone Friday...then by Saturday morning, JFJ was the target as while he was 'supposedly' interviewing candidates to replace Maurice, Peddie was interviewing candidates to replace JFJ.

The scary thing is that this is common here, and every 10-12 weeks like clockwork, things heat up to a boil.....and then nothing happens. I've learned to ignore them.

On another note, things have improved in MSG and Tampa where both Renney and Tortorella have been given votes of confidence.

Time will tell.

Last week, Doug MacLean and his proposed ownership group met with the Lightning management and players after the Carolina game and assured Feaster and Tortorella that their jobs were safe.....for now.

Similarly, Sather has assured Renney that he doesn't need to look over his shoulder at Mark Messier or anybody else anytime soon (being 9-3-1 in December should have comforted him anyway)..

LITY- Apparently the TB sale fell through. Also, I heard Peddie supports JFJ-such is life in Toronto- so many rumours-which ones to believe............

LITY: You lost me at "On another note, things have improved in MSG and Tampa where both Renney and Tortorella have been given votes of confidence."

Please explain, because I was not invited to this election.

I think Messier and Healy would fill the spots for GM and coach pretty good.

Thanks LITY : As long as Feaster is there and Tortorella stays. And management is cool in the gang with both of them. *sigh*

What's Brylcream?

Ah, I see...I wouldn't know what it was for if it was right in front of my face.

LITY, you should go for it. Granted only a handful (literally...I can count how many with one hand) of Leafs fans are on this site, so the rest of Leafs Nation will be on your as$ if you sneeze in the wrong direction, but you should go for it regardless!! lol
