I really like Bono's answer, but you all mostly come up with answers like I would use the lamp for.

I can't claim that I wouldn't be selfish, because I would...giving myself a completely redone house (without the need for a home repair loan), with a car or two to drive the family around in.
But I would also use it to help my friends. Everybody would get the three wishes THEY really needed, because MY last wish would be that each of my friends receive three wishes of their own.

First of all that would be one very shiny lamp. Hope it would not wear out. Bonos answer is cool but then they all are. Lets just say no one would be needing anything.

I would just put it on my lap and rub it. Smooth lamps feel nice. I would feel nice, everything around me would be nice. I would ask if I could just keep rubbing it until I came up with something wonderful to ask for.

That I would be able to see all the different beautiful cultures, and to be able to try all the different sports and surf, and that I would be able to inspire people through my singing b/c I desperately want this. I have been inspired through people's music so much. How could I not want this for other people and to be able to help my family with their dreams and wishes b/c they mean the most to me.

I would use it to help my sisters realize their dreams. I have 3 sisters that have always taken care of everyone else. Now that their kids are grown, it's time they took care of themselves, yet they don't seem to believe they should or could. Their dreams are quite simple and obtainable, yet they believe it is selfish to pursue, even though they encourage others to pursue their dreams. I say, carpe deim, Sis! I would help them to realize their potential and give them the ability to pursue what makes them happiest.
