I am racking ,my brain over the corridoor lighting. I have placed the power cable as usual from one pendent to the other and took the switch to the pendent and wired as normal.

My problem:-

The light upstairs i have wired with a two way switch (so that it can be turned on or off from either upstairs or downstairs)

Now I want the downstairs light to operate on the same switch as the upstairs light. (so they both turn on and off at same time)

Whats the easiest way to do this?.

channeling and mess is not a problem as it will be re=plastered.

Thanks for viewing hope you can help me asap

Irv is correct and has pointed out the easiest way. Simply connect the downstairs light to the upstairs light. The switches will then control both.

Simple
Just wire from the upstairs light to the downstairs light.
Leave the switches alone.

To have the upstairs and the downstairs function together, you will need two 3-way switches. There must be at least a 14/3 wire running between them. Attach the red to the same terminal on both switches and also the the black to to other unmarked terminal. These are travelers. The white will be connected to the white incoming wire. The two common terminals, usually marked black, one goes to the load and the other to the hot wire coming in.(Source voltage) http://www.electrical-online.com/extra-graphics/3wayswitch.htm
