Good grief, where do you live!? That's totally unacceptable. I would have a talk with the principal and your parents.

Schools are not supposed to promoting sexuality of any kind. They have no right to teach sex education. That is up to the parents. Libs started this whole damn thing by taking away a parents right to discipline their children. If someone is gay that is their business. And need to keep it between themselves when around school children. Kids don't know any better until they are older. To tell them that making out with the same sex is okay or any thing of that nature is wrong.

You should definitely SPEAK UP. I am a white female and I cannot stand people who are bigots and racists. If I don't like you it because you did something unforgivable, not because of your birth.
Sit down with pencil and paper and make a list as best you can remember of any and all events that have happened that you thought were offensive and raciest. Then go to the highest school official, Take your Mom or Dad with your or both. And place your complain with the Principal or counselor. If nothing is done then go to the media. This type of behavior has to be addressed.

Also, analyze your own feelings and be sure some of the retaliation is not being generated by you. I've had good friends white and black and Hispanic. And I've know some people who wore a chip on their shoulder and caused others to not like them. Get you some witty come back comments and when someone says something, make a funny out of it. If they know you are not upset by their actions, they will, hopefully, get over it. I remember one time in a college class, we had ONE girl who was black. One day someone made a remark about a black and she, somewhat loud, said. "oh my God, black is someone here black, She grabbed her chest and said, Oh.. I'm black,....am I black?" Everyone cracked up laughing and we all learned to love her.

I'm sorry, first i'm not gonna say i feel your pain cause i don't i'm white. But, that doesn't give me nor anyone else the right to walk all over u and treat you like ****. U should speak up, but, not to your teachers go to a counselor in your school, someone who has a lot of power like that and make it known that this upsets you. Oh, by the way i know this isn't gonna be comforting so again sorry, but, No matter what u do cause your half black everywhere u go you'll find someone to make fun at u for being black. I hope u will not get to mad bout this stuff, and i didn't mean to be so negative but, it's the truth.

Good Luck with your school racism problem.

First off you need to tell the principal that the teacher was laughing at a racist comment. If the principal is racist too. Take it up with the superintendent and tell him that you took it to the principal and nothing happened. As for the girls, there really isn't much you can do. They will either grow up and realize that what they were taught by their parents and grandparents is stupid or they won't. I learned not too long after getting married and getting out of my parent's home(step mother was a big racist) that it doesn't matter what color they are and that some people are jerks no matter what race they are. The ones that don't learn will probably get their buts kicked in the real world anyways.

YOUR TEACHER IS MORAN.
I don't know where you live but i went to a integrated school.
I had friends the problem is if you are in a school with a bunch of people that are in clicks.
The dumb jerks want to be cool and act like idiots.
If you have good enough grades try and get into another school that has a high achievement record.
Usually uneducated people are more bigoted than people that are smart and doing something with their lives. good luck.
We live in a racially divided word it's not fair neither is life but keep your head up don't fight it just be smarter and beat it get a better education somehow.
If you're old enough move to a less bigoted area.
But people can be cruel you have to over come it.
Remember What martin said we shall over come.
I remember the day they killed him but his deeds and acts are stamped in history.
good luck.
PS: I'm a white person so not everyone non-black is a idiot.

Their are racists everywhere, no matter where you go. They are teachers, policemen, the girl in the class, your neighbors, the stranger at the grocery store.
Just know that you are way smarter than them, racism is born of ignorance.
Turn you tears into sympathy tears, for them being so ignorant.
Your teacher should have said something about the story, but she didn't, at least not in front of the class. She might have in private.
Some people are just so desparate for attetion that they will do anything to feel superior to others, including being a racist.
Watch your parents, and see what they do about racism. Talk to them, if they are the kind of parents who can sit down and talk calmly with you.

I am sorry that you were so upset it is very out of order.
You must tell your parents and they must go and speak to your prinicipal.
They need to investigate this, no-one has the right to upset anyone with their small minds, I am so shocked that the teacher did not stop this student, but to laugh at it is so wrong.
Ask your Parents to make a stand, tell them how hurt you are and cannot face school because of it.
Dont let this go because if you dont it will carry on and then it will be accepted by others. Teach the Teacher a lesson and hold your head up high sweetheart.

My mom is italian and my dad is dominican but yet i look mexican. When i used to ride the bus there were these kids who would bad-mouth mexicans so bad and shout crap out the window everytime they saw a mexican. It was horrible. The worst part was the bus driver would laugh and never try to stop them. I know what you're going through it's crazy and it's even crazier that teachers aren't trying to stop it. You could ignore it or tell someone up in the office about it. Racism is pretty much everywhere so leaving that school might send you to an even more racist school. If ignoring them or telling someone up in the office doesn't make things better....speak up! :D

GOOD LUCK!!

oh honey im so sorry to hear that you went through that. It's so sad that people cant see beyond the colour of a persons skin, you'd think we'd be past all this but clearly the individuals are extremely immature. I think you should have spoken to the teacher and raised your concerns at that time. I also think you should tell your teachers about these girls who thinks it's ok to refer to you as a "Black c**t!!"

atleast talk to your parents, i wouldnt want you to move schools as you have many friends there!

good luck!

If you feel uncomfortable, def. speak up!! I'm white, but I take offense when people say racist comments or w/e towards black people. You shouldn't have to deal with it, I love inter-racial relationships, so 10 points for your parents =) hehe These girls should get something said to, or done to. Don't go to the teacher, talk to your parents, see what they say- hell depending on the principle your best bet may be the school board. Does your teacher and those girls know you are "mixed"?
