Always thinking of new ideas & this is a 'can't miss':

Think about it, how many times have you been to a Steakhouse & lose quality time towards the conversation because you have to cut your meat? I estimate the average diner spends 5 minutes cutting their meat and that is conversation time you'll never get back.

You pay for the entire dining experience when you visit restaurants, why be cheated out of 5 minutes cutting your meat? Not to mention the manual labor effort.

My steakhouse restaurants will feature 2 waiters, one takes your order & another that remains at your table. The one remaining table-side sole duty is to cut your meat. He can cut it as follows:

1. Cuts the entire piece of meat once it is served to the size of your liking (Large or small bites)
2. Cuts the meat one bite at a time as you eat it.

I'm trying to get opinions on this extraordinary service my steakhouses will provide. Any feedback?

Also, I have the idea copyrighted so nobody steals it.

I don't know that I'd want to go to a place where the meat was cut at my table.

There's a restaurant where you select your cut of meat and grill it yourself (see link above).

Umm...you can't copyright an idea.

I don't really like that idea. First, I'd feel very uncomfortable talking while the waiter was there cutting up my food for me. It would be distracting to have someone standing/leaning over me to cut my food. Second, what if you have a large (4 or more) group of people and only one waiter? That would take forever. Third, I'd feel like a 3 year old who needs her food cut for her. :) Fourth, it's kind of tacky to cut up all your meat then eat it. You should cut one piece at a time. I can cut food and talk at the same time with no problem. It's the eating part that takes away from conversation (unless you're the type who talks with your mouth full of food). Until you can come up with a way for a waiter to eat my food for me yet still fill me up, I don't like your idea. :)

I feel my conversation time would be wasted more because of this waiter at my table. I feel I'd have to sensor my conversation. I can cut meat and talk at the same time.

No bad idea, I live in a country full of meat eaters and no one here except a little child (if his mother approves) will allow you to cut their meat. eating is a personal thing, everyone likes to cut their meat into the size pieces they want. don't want to have any one hovering over my table thank you.
