You are going to have fun with this little one, as for teeth, its a little early, but not abnormal, just be prepared for him to try out his teeth on you if you are nursing. And don't let it stop you from nursing, he should get over it, mine always did.

Teeth at four months is pretty normal. That is about the right time for them to start popping through, or at least the slobber starts and they are in full blown teething. It can take a while for the first white points to come in. As for being in the walker and seeming older than he is, maybe he has really good muscle control for a kid his age. All kids do stuff at different times, the key is to just enjoy what he does do and let him discover new things all the time. Babies are hardwired to learn and he is learning things quickly. Just enjoy and don't get wrapped up in the 'ages and stages' thing. All babies are different anyway.

My daughter walked in her walker at 4 months as well, but doesn't do some things that other babies her age can do like rollover and sit up (she is now 5 months). I've ben with kids for years and each are different! My friend's son also cut his first tooth at 4 months. Hopefully this means you have a motivated son who wants to go, and will be a very smart toddler, Good Luck!

Luck. You've got one smart lil cookie there. My daughter had teeth at 4 months also. The pediatrician thought nothing of it, and the dentist simply said, "yep -- early in, early out". She got a wiggly tooth in kindergarten, way ahead of the other kids. The tooth fairy came to her before the other kids! BTW, she has gorgeous adult teeth.

She was walking at 9 months, never crawled. I've heard some people say that it's not good to pass over the crawling stage, but I have never noticed any negative effect on my child. (She's 25 years old now, and has always been an over-achiever.)

Developmental milestones are met at different times for different children. Your son is on the early end of the curve, but it's certainly not that unusual. Enjoy him!

My son was born with a tooth. It usually means that the rest will come in early. They will usually loose them early too. My daughter had lost all her teeth by 9 years old and was able to start braces early. On at 9 and off at 11. That is when most kids are just starting. All of my kids got their teeth early and are very healthy.

There is wide range of what's normal in development. Walking in a walker isn't really walking. Different muscles are being used, which is why they say to limit the use of a walker.

Some babies just develop and learn faster than others. My son was 8 months when he started walking, never crawled, just got up and started walking.. And some babies are even born with teeth.. Nothing to worry about, it's normal. =)

All babies develop at different rates some came be more advance in some things but weaker in others compared to other babies. My daughter is 4.5 months old a cut her first tooth on the weekend but friends of ours their son didn't cut his first until he was over 12 months old.

Totally normal. My first cut 5 teeth in a week at 4.5 mos. Some babies are even born with a couple of teeth, others don't cut them for months yet...normal.

He's just advanced. My first baby did everything early and got her first tooth at 3 months. So don't worry but also don't put to much pressure on him once he starts growing up. It's hard to let them progress at their own rate once you expect them to hit every milestone early.
My second baby is 5 months and still hasn't had a tooth come in so every baby is different.
