I have to write a paper on protest music analysis.
can anyone give me two or more PROTEST songs protesting about sexism or gender inequality or anything along those line?
actually the song can be protesting about anything (anti-war, anti-bush..etc) but i am looking for the lyrics to contain something about the issue of race, class or gender.

Try The Nightwatchman's albulm "One Man Revolution." The artist is Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine. It's good if you want some non-70's protest music...very simple, revolutionary lyrics set over johnny cash like beats. Some topics include anti-iraq war, and anti-free trade (pro-union).

Anti-anti-war songs (if that makes sense):
Chely Wright, Bumper of my SUV (Lyrics: http://www.cowboylyrics.com/lyrics/wright-chely/bumper-of-my-suv-14691.html)
Toby Keith, Courtesy of the Red White and Blue (lyrics: http://www.lyricsfreak.com/t/toby+keith/courtesy+of+the+red+white+blue_20138071.html)

These are unique types of protest songs, too often not recognized as protests.
