Think of varieties your competition hasn't. Try planting very early and very late varieties, even though the may not be the heaviest producers in your area, you will have produce to sell when the others don't. Same goes for veggies of unusual colors. Make consecutive plantings to spread out harvest. RScott

Tomatoes, Tomatoes, Tomatoes. Not only are they easy to grow, they produce a lot, and continue to produce all summer long. As my husband says, "There are two things money can't buy--true love and home grown tomatoes."

cucumbers, apples, melons,tomatoes- price isn't reallya factor for me, i just want fresh fruit and veggies that are homegrown since they are likely not to have pesticides!
