With the internet you can find the answer to most of the common types of questions. The only requirement is a minimum level of literacy, numeracy and computer-literacy.

Not just school...they apparently don't listen to much of anything except the most shrill and extreme opinions on the internet.

Why would you think that? Maybe because of the slang that is used, and that is common when you have internet or if you text alot. You gotta get those words in however you can in a very small amount of time or on txts, you only have 160 characters, so we all use slang, shortcuts. Dosent mean were dumb!

Last week I couldn't even spell "neurosurgeon"... now I are one! Truth is that if you've seen one chain saw you've pretty much seen them all... now can somebody hand me a lighter so I can sterilize mine before I begin operating on the victim... er "patient"?
