Since someone that I allowed to use my computer (wireless) things are different about my computer... Could they have retrieved information about my computer obtained passwords, etc?

Did they use YOUR computer or just your wireless connection?
If they used your computer then of course they could.

If they just used your wireless connection it all depends on how well your computer is protected from Viruses, Trojans, etc. If you have a good firewall and antivirus and anti spyware they wont have much access. (Only to shared folders).

I would run a good scan to see what happened - you may just have received an update which changed things and it is just coincidence with the use of your system.

If you allow anyone to use your own computer they can get any amount of information.
